Jira Setup
Connect Jira Cloud with a site URL, email, and API token.
Requirements
Jira Cloud is supported. You will need:
- Your Jira Cloud site URL (for example
https://your-company.atlassian.net) - The Atlassian account email you use for that site
- A Jira API token for that account
- Permission to browse projects and create issues in the target project
Create an API token
- Open Atlassian API tokens(opens in a new tab).
- Create a token and copy it once — you will not see it again.
- Keep the token private. Treat it like a password.
example
Jira Cloud URL: https://your-company.atlassian.net
Email: you@company.com
API token: ATATT3x...Connect in the app
- Open the Dashboard and open Jira / integration settings.
- Enter the Cloud URL, email, and API token.
- Optionally set a default project key and preferred issue type for faster push setup.
- Save. Tokens already saved can be left blank to keep them.
Verify the connection
After saving, use the connection check in settings. A successful check confirms the URL, email, and token can reach Jira. If verification fails, see Troubleshooting.
